Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up in the vicinity of Tallahassee near Tallahassee in Florida. Her birthplace was in Miami Beach on September 21, 1964 to Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She attended West Virginia University, Florida State University and then graduated at the University of Central Florida. It wasn't until she moved out of Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater and studied comedy there when she realized that she had learned about comedy. Lisa Kudrow, her first teacher at the Groundlings Theatre was an outstanding instructor. She began to learn how to come up with ideas and sketch comical sketches. This experience helped her prepare for her role as Larry David's wife in the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue in the comedy is made up, which means she's comfortable. Still, she performs at the Groundlings Theater every time she gets a chance.
