Alison Wright has been an English actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known work is her role in the lead role of Martha Hanson on the FX period-set spy drama The Americans, for which she received critical acclaim and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the year 2017. In addition, she has appeared on The Ryan Murphy limited series Feud: Bette & Joan and Hollywood. Wright was adopted by her parents, was born Sunderland in 1976.
